MB Revision: Full control over changes to your custom fields
WordPress automatically records changes to titles and content, but what about the custom data you manage through Meta Box? MB Revision extends the WordPress revision system to include all your custom fields, from simple fields to complex, clonable structures. This is especially important if your site is managed by multiple users or relies on business-critical data.
Why MB Revision is the ideal solution
Keeping a complete record of changes to custom fields prevents accidental data loss and improves transparency in collaborative environments. MB Revision integrates seamlessly with Meta Box, allowing you to compare previous versions, restore past editions and identify exactly what changed in each revision. No complex configurations, just add a line to your Meta Box configuration and the plugin takes care of the rest.
Key functionalities
- Complete tracking of custom fields: Automatically record all changes in your Meta Box fields, not only in content and titles.
- Detailed visual comparison: View side-by-side what was added, deleted or modified in each revision for a clear audit.
- Compatibility with complex structures: It works seamlessly with field groups and clonable fields, including JSON-encoded data.
- Instant restoration: Revert to any previous version with one click, protecting your content against unwanted changes.
